Key developer for the ComCierge InRoom product designed for the hospitality industry.
Product gives hotel guests access to on-line room service, movies on demand, music on demand, email, internet access, restaurant reservations,
and numerous other capabilities from their in-room touch screen PC (ComCierge unit).
|
| |
|
Developed the CCStart (ComCierge Start) module which allowed each client to periodically test the status of the ComCierge network.
If the network is down, the ComCierge unit will display a 'down for maintenance screen' so that the guest will not be confused by a
non-reactive ComCierge touch screen. When the network comes back up, the CCStart module will sense that and either restart the
ComCierge system or reboot the client (configurable based on the property)
|
| |
|
Designed and developed the ComCierge install system. Allows technician to install the ComCierge client software by simply entering the
room number or ID where unit will be installed, then all programs and DLL's will be installed and registered on the client as well as any ComCierge
database entries that run the system messaging system.
|
| |
|
Responsible for installation and training of the ComCierge system for the Unisys International Management Center, Nice, France project and
the Anaheim Hilton Beta project.
|
| |
|
Designed and devloped remote management system for ComCierge system. Each client has a program running that sends and receives
system status messages to/from the property server which in turn has a program running that can send and receive system status messages
to/from the ComCierge central server in San Diego. Hence, with the proper security clearance an administrator can see which modules
are running on a particular client, bring a particular ComCierge module up or down, bring the ComCierge system up or down,
or even reboot one or a number clients at a time.
